About Me

Visualizing figments of the imagination, be they ideas, emotions, characters, or themes, is what my art focuses on. Through my illustrations I flesh out characters, props, and worlds for concept design using traditional mediums such as graphite, colored pencils, and digital applications like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Other traditional mediums I frequently use include acrylic paints, colored paper collages, and crochet work. I utilize these, either individually or as mixed media, to envision whimsical and fantastical scenes.

At the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, I have grown as an artist through a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Illustration and minor in Art History. During my experience at UNCC, I have been able to participate in a Gallery Internship and a variety of art shows and exhibits. Some of these shows include Impromtu (2015), New Concepts (2017), and the Student Juried Showcase (2015) which were group exhibitions at UNCC restricted to art majors only and the Student Art Showcase (2017) open to all students. I have also had my work displayed in class shows such as a display in ImaginOn’s main lobby of project pieces by my Illustration: Media and Methods class (2015) and a collaboration between my Fibers: Surface Design class and Premier Yarns to create a piece for their company convention in Phoenix, Arizona (2018).
